Take 30 minutes out of your workday to relax, connect to your heart and cultivate inner peace and happiness. Everyone is welcome to attend these guided meditations. No previous experience is necessary.

Identify and Reduce Stressors

Monday 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm

$10 or $5 discounted (Free with membership)

Drop in class for both beginners and those with meditation experience. When our delusions are not functioning strongly our mind is relatively tranquil and contented, but as soon as anger, jealousy or desirous attachment arise, they destroy our peace of mind like a storm destroying the tranquility of an ocean. “How to Understand the Mind”- Geshe Kelsang Gyatso

Beginning Meditation

Tuesday 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm

By donation (Suggested $5 – $10 for Non-Members)

Drop ins welcome. This series will explore what meditation is, how to use breathing meditation for relaxation, discover your own inner potential for lasting peace and happiness by meditating on the mind, and deepen your connection with others by using meditation to increase your love and compassion for them. The class is designed with beginning meditators in mind, but experienced meditators will also benefit from this class.

In Depth Study

$10 or $5 discounted (Free with membership)

Wednesday 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm

In depth study of Buddhist topics starting with the text How to Transform Your Life by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. Guided meditations are part of the class. A free ebook is available for download: How to Transform Your Life.  Previous experience is not necessary.  Drop ins are welcome. You will gain the most from this class if you make it a regular part of your weekly schedule.
