Meditate in Eugene

Meditate in Eugene is a branch of the Mahasiddha Kadampa Buddhist Center in Portland. We offer meditation classes for people interested in improving themselves through meditation. The class consists of teachings, guided meditations and short prayers. In the class we will learn meditations Buddha taught over 2500 years ago, designed to help us develop deep inner peace and happiness. By developing our inner peace and sharing it with others, our world will gradually become more peaceful. In this way, we will accomplish world peace.

Without inner peace, outer peace is impossible. We all wish for world peace, but world peace will never be achieved unless we first establish peace within our own minds.” – Geshe Kelsang Gyatso

Kadam Dharma comes to Japan

Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche has appointed Gen Kelsang Shindro as the Resident Teacher of the new Kadampa Meditation Centre Tokyo.

Yesterday NKT-IKBU signed the lease on a property for the City Temple. Work now begins on renovating the interior.

Meanwhile at the Kadampa Studio at Manjushri KMC in the UK the statues for the new shrine have been completed and will be shipped in the next few days.

How wonderful.
